Sharing good times at SPBGMA
Sammy, it was awesome getting to meet you at SPBGMA last week in Nashville. I really enjoyed talking with you. It was my first time to attend the event, and I found it to be very rewarding. I was able to meet so many new people, and just have a good time with others who love this industry like we both do. We all work hard at keeping it real for future generations. It has been my passion for most all of my life. My adventure in the bluegrass genre has been all volunteer work for me so far, and it might stay that way. My time in Nashville really inspired me. It was so awesome to see people of all ages gathering together to hear this wonderful sound. So many of the young people were listening, singing, and playing traditional bluegrass. I think this genre is in really good hands. I was there Thursday - Monday. On Sunday evening, I was able to broadcast my Mountain Bluegrass show live for four solid hours in the main lobby of the Sheraton. The Kody Norris Show was still there, and they joined me on the radio for a little while. I asked several of the young people, who had been in the band contests, to perform a few songs live on the radio. I was definitely in my element, Sammy. Thank you for the time we shared. Let's do it again real soon.
Best regards,
David Pugh
