Nashville, Tenn. - Rising Bluegrass band Lindley Creek has unveiled their powerful new single, “Breathe,” which is available now on all major digital and streaming platforms. The heartfelt track arrives just in time for Mental Health Awareness Month, offering a timely and sincere message of hope, healing and self-care. It includes empowering lyrics, tight harmonies and polished musicianship in true Lindley Creek fashion.

Written by Lindley Creek matriarch Kathie Greer and the lead vocalist Katie Greer, the new version of “Breathe” is a peaceful meditation on staying centered during moments of emotional turbulence. With an emphasis on overcoming anxiety and stress, the song encourages listeners not to let negativity take control. Produced by Jim VanCleve, the track features soothing instrumentation and a moving vocal performance that provides a musical safe space for anyone feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges.

The single has already generated early praise from the media. Top Buzz Magazine complimented “Breathe” as an “endearing, daringly experimental work.” Indie Pulse Music noted “how amazingly well Lindley Creek tackles a near-impossible task of making a simple song sound like a modern folk juggernaut.” Bluegrass Unlimited calls it a “vivid meditation featuring more exquisite vocals and a thrilling fiddle ride by producer VanCleve.”

The release of “Breathe” follows the success of Lindley Creek’s first two Pinecastle Records albums, Whispers in the Wind and their breakout debut Freedom, Love, and the Open Road. The Missouri-based family band – comprised of Katie Greer Hutson (lead vocals, mandolin), Kathie Greer (vocals, guitar), John Rob Greer (bass), Jase Greer (vocals/fiddle) and Caroline Greer (dobro)– first burst onto the national scene in 2020. Their authentic sound, emotionally rich lyrics, and dynamic stage presence quickly earned them accolades, including two IBMA Momentum Award nominations for “Band of the Year” and “Vocalist of the Year” (Katie Greer).
