Nashville, TN (August 26, 2022) – 615 Hideaway Records is proud to announce the new single “All Dressed Up” from David Parmley is #1 this week on the Bluegrass Today’s Weekly Airplay chart. David Parmley after being away from recording for a period has hit the ground running with his debut single on 615 Hideaway Records.

“I’m so excited to be back recording again and working with 615 Hideaway Records! I’m very proud of this new song, All Dressed Up! I’d like to thank the DJ’s for playing it and all the fans who requested it! Now, I’m All Dressed Up and ready to go!!” – David Parmley

“All Dressed Up”, released in mid-June, written by Linda Buell, Geoff Buell and Jody Emerson tells the story of a man who has been highly anticipating his hot date but there’s only one problem…He’s all dressed up with nowhere to go since his date has not showed up or answered his calls or messages.

David Parmley does a masterful job in expressing all the emotion and heartfelt disappointment this young man is experiencing and feeling on what has become an epic disastrous date night letdown. “All Dressed Up” was recorded at Digital Underground Recording Studio, Greenbrier, TN and produced by David Parmley and Scott Vestal containing performances by David Parmley (Lead Vocal and Harmony), Don Rigsby (Harmony Vocal), Scott Vestal (Banjo), Jeff Partin (Dobro), Tim Crouch (Fiddle), Jim Hurst (Guitar), Seth Taylor (Mandolin) and Dave Roe (Bass).

“All Dressed Up” is available for download to D.J.’s and program directors in our Radio Only Group.

David Parmley began his musical career at age 15 and by the time he turned 17, he began his full-time career as a member of The Bluegrass Cardinals. That band featured his father, Don Parmley, and David's lead and baritone voice was the backbone to The Bluegrass Cardinal sound. During a 25-year period The Bluegrass Cardinals recorded 18 albums and the material is considered the finest to come out of the 70's and 80's Bluegrass era.

David Parmely left The Bluegrass Cardinals in the 90's to pursue a solo career leaning more towards a modern approach to Bluegrass Music. David Parmley and Continental Divide topped the Bluegrass Charts throughout the 90's and now Parmley is back and excited to be recording again and creating new music as well as keeping the family tradition alive!
