About
The Steve Bruce Band: Released his solo-focused bluegrass instrumental album What I Know Now featuring guest performances by renowned musicians Ron Stewart and Glen Duncan. Formed The Steve Bruce Band, an Appalachian family ensemble featuring his daughter Whitney Alderman (vocals), son-in-law Lukus Alderman (bass), granddaughter Eden Alderman (fiddle), son Andrew Bruce (guitar and vocals), and longtime collaborator Bob Powell (mandolin). Released the family-centered EP A Family Tradition, featuring original and traditional bluegrass gospel arrangements performed entirely by family members and close associates without external studio augmentation.
