Mountain Song

Thank you for taking a few moments to listen to Mountain Song. This song represents a true friendship and collaboration between the American writer, Rickey Dunn, from Star, North Carolina and myself from Ontario Canada and my Canadian musician friends who recorded this beautiful song with me. It spoke to me because my late Dad was from the Appalachian area of New Brunswick, Canada. Dad loved this song and I’m glad I recorded it. It was a gift to him and if other people enjoy it, that’s truly a bonus and blessing. The cover art features my paternal grandmother’s cabin where she was born and it’s still exists today on that mountain dirt road in New Brunswick. Apparently it is being used as a hunting and fishing camp and Christmas tree farm today. I hope to get back down there in the future to spread a little of Dad’s ashes and do a music video of this cabin. Thank you for playing Mountain Song.
