FAQ
The 615 Hideaway — plain answers
Text and links only. What this place is, who it's for, what works today, and what we're building next. Role guides live under How it works.
What is The 615 Hideaway?
The home for living bluegrass. One place for artist pages, discovery, studio and podcast media, festivals and fans — and radio tools for DJs.
We are not only a radio promo dump. Radio Now is the industry room inside the house, not the whole house.
Start at the homepage, hear new singles, or browse Artist Hub.
Who is it for?

- Labels — ship radio singles to DJs and manage roster pages. Label guide
- DJs — free Radio Now catalog (preview, MP3, cover, one-sheet). DJ guide · Open Radio Now

What is Radio Now? Is that the whole site?
No. Radio Now is the industry room inside The 615 Hideaway — not the whole house.
New music for bluegrass and roots radio, before and after release day. Radio Now gives registered radio DJs one place to discover new singles, preview releases, and access the music and materials they need for airplay.
Artists, labels, publicists, and promoters can deliver releases directly to the radio community while keeping everything organized in one place.
Radio Now is built for radio. DJ access requires a registered account.

Do I need a radio single to have an artist page?
No. Your page works for bands and musicians without uploading to Radio Now. Share music, story, videos, and links. When you have a single for DJs, use the same account for Radio Now.
That includes day-slot and local musicians who share stages with bigger acts and want a real page — not only touring bands with current promo singles.
What is Music Hub?
Public new-singles plaza at /music. Discover new bluegrass and roots music, available now. Every single here has reached its official release date. Preview a track, then visit the artist to listen everywhere, watch videos, follow their music, and discover more.
Not the DJ desk — full downloads and charts stay on Radio Now. Finding bands and musicians is Artist Hub.
What is Artist Hub?
Public artist home at /artists. Discover bluegrass and roots artists all in one place. Explore artist profiles to hear their music, watch videos, find upcoming shows, follow your favorites, and learn more about the people behind the songs.
For artists, each profile is a professional home inside The 615 Hideaway—built to connect your music with fans, radio, festivals, and the wider roots music community.
New singles live in Music Hub.
What is Stage Hub?
Public community door at /stages. Discover where the bluegrass and roots community comes together. Explore festivals, associations, events, and the people who keep the music moving—from stages and jam circles to local communities and beyond.
Whether you're a fan looking for somewhere to go, a picker looking for a community, or an artist looking for opportunities, Stage Hub helps you find your place in the music.

Can someone walk me through the site?
Yes. Book a walkthrough and pick a time. We’ll go over your page, Radio Now, Fans Chart, or whatever you want to understand.
What is coming later?
Honest short list — not a promise of dates:
- Stronger links from Studio/Podcast guests to artist pages (spine polish)
- Artist Pro extras after research: rates notes + festival Book this band handoff only (615 is not the booker)
- Facebook auto-post for new Radio Now singles (Page 615hideaway)
- Paid ladder when free era ends: pay-as-you-go singles/boosts + optional Pro seats
- Spotlight checkout windows; going-for-adds email to chart reporters
- Picker profiles under associations (scene players); heritage pages (editorial quality first)
Money-lane and free-era details: see role guides under How it works. System health: System status.
Does it cost money?
Free era now — join and use the core tools without a paid membership. Artists may have a free-era cap on how many new radio singles they can publish per month; labels are not under that same artist cap. DJs do not pay to browse or download.
When charging turns on: radio singles and some boosts are planned as pay-as-you-go; optional Artist Pro / Label Pro seats around $6.15/monthfor tools and Pro page polish — not a wall that blocks the basic catalog. We'll give notice before anything becomes paid.
One Artist Pro seat is for bands and musicians — not a separate “Musician Pro.”
