Our Story
The 615 Hideaway is a Tennessee-based independent bluegrass label and content platform founded by Sammy Passamano III.
Born into a multi-generational music family, Sammy grew up working alongside his father, Sam Passamano Jr., at Rural Rhythm Records. With the blessing of bluegrass legends Audie Blaylock and Bill Emerson, he launched The 615 Hideaway Records.
The label is now home to David Parmley, 2025 Bluegrass Hall of Fame Inductee. In addition to new music releases, we also produce occasional podcasts featuring honest conversations with David Parmley and Sam Passamano Jr., along with an archive of live performances now available behind a paywall on our YouTube channel.
Our focus remains creating quality bluegrass music and sharing real-talk content that helps independent artists navigate the music business
