About

Growing up in a musical family, KELLY COBERLY has always had a real passion for music.  While attending Bluegrass Festivals as a child with her father, who was in a Bluegrass band, Kelly always knew she wanted to pursue a singing career.  Born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and growing up in the mountains of West Virginia, Kelly says "𝑚𝑦 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑗𝑜𝑏 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐 𝑏𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑎𝑡 𝑎𝑔𝑒 7 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝐼 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑦 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑖𝑜 𝑖𝑛 𝐵𝑟𝑜𝑎𝑑𝑤𝑎𝑦, 𝑉𝑖𝑟𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑎.  𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑘-𝑤𝑟𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑐𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑒 𝑡𝑎𝑝𝑒𝑠 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑜𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑!"  Kelly began singing in the school choir at the age of 9, and has now turned her childhood dream into reality, traveling and singing Gospel, Country, & Bluegrass music all around the world.  Kelly's career began in 1999, originally as a Country/Bluegrass Artist.  In 2001, Kelly wrote her very first song, titled "Ya Wanna Bet", which was released to international radio and reached #2 on the Country Music charts in Australia.  Shortly after, she wrote "What Did I Do" and "Precious Child", which were also released to international radio.  In 2005 & 2006, Kelly was a demo singer and background vocalist for a recording studio in Pigeon Forge, TN.  Throughout her 15 years as a Country/Bluegrass Artist, Kelly received eighteen (18) awards from the Tennessee Country Music Association (TCMA) and the North America Country Music Association, International (NACMAI), including Female Vocalist of the Year, Female Entertainer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year, which she received 5 years in a row.  As a Country/Bluegrass Artist, Kelly also recorded five (5) albums, including a tribute album, titled "Remember West Virginia Coal" for her hometown of Upshur County, West Virginia, where the 2006 Sago Mine Tragedy occurred.  In early 2014, Kelly's singing career advanced to an even greater level when God called her into the Gospel Music Ministry.  Since being called into ministry, Kelly has recorded four (4) Gospel albums, including her most recent album released in 2025, bringing her total to nine (9) albums so far.  As a Gospel Artist, she has released eighteen (18) singles to radio so far, with all 18 reaching the "TOP 5" on Gospel music charts, including multiple #1 hits.  In 2016, Kelly received the Female Vocalist of the Year Award at the Crimson Music Awards, bringing her total to nineteen (19) awards throughout her career.  Kelly is one of the most powerful & anointed vocalists in Gospel music.  Her rich vocal tone, along with the natural cry in her voice is known to bring the house down and move people to tears and praises of joy.  Kelly's music is a true blessing, and the Lord has used her and her ministry in incredible ways. Kelly says "𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑜 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝐺𝑜𝑑'𝑠 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑢 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐.
